Do you like turtles? Then try to convince people you see that drive boats to try not to hit reefs. Can you imagine 1,000 swimming pools filled with oil? That’s how much oil leaked into the ocean when the Exxon Valdez hit a reef.

These are some thing you need to know about oil spills. An oil spill is the release of a liquid called petroleum hydrocarbon into the water due to human activity, and it is a form of pollution. The term is usually given to marine oil spills, where oil is released into the ocean or coastal waters, but spills may also occur on land.

When oil is spilled in the ocean,it initially spreads in the water, mostly on the surface.

There is some ways. when there is a small oil spell the cleanup crew uses pads to clean up oil spills. When there is a big oil spell the cleanup crew well uses a bom and skimmer. Sometimes they well burn the oil or uses chemicals

Well these are some results. You can uses less oil,electricity and gas. And do not drire places you can walk. Thes are some more information tankers should have two layers of metal cleanup crew at all times.
